ok... sorry this took so long to post!!!!!

James Thomas Kennedy made his arrival on 7/19/08 at 4:52 pm weighing in at 7lbs 1oz and 20 inches long.... my water broke at 1 am on 7/19 and contractions wouldnt start on their own so pitocin was started .. but the pitocin didnt do anything either... finally once they upped the pitcin to 85 cc's (they started at 6 cc's per hour) did it start to work.... i was in hard labor from noon until he was born.... i felt the urge to push.... they told me i was only 9cm and to NOT push.... i had no choice... 4 pushed later James was out.... they couldnt believe it (i still dont understand why drs dont believe pts when they say something, especially women... we know our body) no pain meds and no epidural and not one tear.... my body was completly done after that... this recovery is definatly ALOT HARDER then with my first son :( .... but im gettin there
