Leadership Education Mentoring Institute coming to Chicago!

I just got back from a phenomenal training this weekend, and I'm so excited about it, because next June, we are going to bring it to Chicago and I want to tell you about it.

We all know we are in the midst of a crisis of liberty and leadership in this country. How can we hope to preserve liberty for our children, if we don't raise them up to be great leaders, on par with the founders of this country? We mothers have to make this happen, and we must make it happen now.

The Leadership Education Mentoring Institute offers trainings for parents to create classes of scholar projects for their communities- these scholar projects are designed to help give students the tools they need to be great leaders. They are designed to help students obtain the great leadership education that George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and the other founders had- the kind of education they need to restore our liberties.

We are planning on bringing training for 3 projects to Chicago next June.

Key of Liberty: "Mentors learn to coach their students in this two-semester program in the study of the American Revolutionary War period, the United States Constitution, and other founding documents. Directed to 12- to 15-year-old Practice Scholars, this class offers an inspiring environment in which students are challenged to learn about many principles of government and read biographies of the founders." (from a LEMI brochure)

This might sound like an American History class, but it's really a study on LIBERTY.

Shakespeare Conquest: This is the best project to start with- it's fun and get kids excited about scholarly studies, and prepares them for the hard work required for Key of LIberty.  (also for kids 12+)

"Mentors learn to introduce their students to the greatest poet-philosopher of all time. In this class, students are challenged to read, listen to or watch 7 to 17 Shakespeare plays. They learn who Shakespeare was, his insights into human nature and many aspects of his poetry. They are exposed to the heightened language by performing a play at the end of a twelve-week intensive acting course."

5 Pillar Tutorial- adult scholar project: This is a project for parents to get their own leadership educations, so they can create important conditions in the home to support a leadership education for their children. This is a crucial step for parent who want to raise leaders.
