My latest injury

So I play 2nd base on my SO's church softball team.  Its slow pitch and its really easy for me (i played fastpitch for years..).

So i was out at 2nd and there was a flyball inbetween 1st and 2nd base.  I ran after it the 1st basemen ran after it.  He called it so i started to back up and the ball hit his glove and then collided with my right eyebrow.   It knocked my glasses clean off and bent them to hell.  All i could think was "i'm gonna go blind." lol.  Everyone rushed over to me and was checking if i was ok.  My MIL held up my glasses and i couldnt help but laugh.  I finished the inning and sat the rest out. 

Now I have a huge goose egg above my eye and its all bruised.  Tomorrow i'll post a picture of it.

it hurts like hell but its a pretty funny story to tell!
