people would see me as the friend I am.  What you see is what you get.  If I have a problem with something or someone, I address it with that person and that person only.  Usually there are ways around solving a problem without confrontation.  I am a devoted, trustworthy friend who will not break a confidence.  I hate gossip but seem to be the victim of it since people seem free to discuss MY opinions about everything even tho I have said nothing!  I will stand behind my friends and defend them to the limit.  I have your back and will back you up.   : )

sounds a lot like how I feel! Finding a good friend is hard to come back in fact at times non-existent these days! I have even given up on friends and walked away because I've been hurt. It's hard for me to trust females truthfully. What I find to help me is not expecting that much, and continuing to be good to my friends. I believe my goodness will come back to me in my karma. Kudos to having a big heart, I feel your pain!

After I read your post, the thing that came to my mind was acceptance and choices. I guess, to some degree  I can understand where your coming from.  In the past,  I've had the same attitude about addressing problems but I've finally come to understand that we all process information in our minds differently  based on knowledge, home environment and past experiences.

I've seen many people come and go in my life some pop up every so often and some I choose to just stay away from.

I've learned that gossip always gets a little distorted each time it's in route.

I've learned that there's only a handful of people in our lives that will truly see us for the friend we really are.

I also believe, that if I don't expect too much  from friends, then I won't be disappointed in the outcome and if I'm  kind and respect all living things than I 'm OK with my self.

I do believe in Karma and nature will take it's course.
