Scared out of my mind!!!

I was on my way home today from dropping a friend off at work and all was going good, got on the highway and then all hell breaks loose.  I merged over to get on the highway and all of the sudden all the cars in front of me were slamming on their breaks so of course I had no choice but to slam on mine, and I mean I smoked them HARD, my kids were in the van too. Bethany started screaming, Jayde was crying and Chris was yelling things at me that I didn't understand because I was trying not to hit the car in front of us. Well finally I heard what he had said which was that Bethany's car seat had flipped over!!!!!! OMG so I had to quickly speed up because there were cars behind me not paying attention and almost hit me and was able to get to the shoulder of the highway to find my baby flipped over and her car seat unbuckled GGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! I freaked out major. I never unbuckle the car seats unless I am removing them to clean the van or put them in another car. I guess since Jayde is in a booster now that each time one of the older kids unbuckles her they must have undone Beth's too by mistake. I was so scared I got the seat back to where is belongs buckled it up the way it should be and had to give myself a few minutes before I could even think about getting behind the wheel.  I called my BIL who came out and got me and the kids they also drove my van back home for me. Luckily Bethany only got a bruise on her eyebrow and no other damage was done to her. I am still freaked out about it.

Omg!
Im so glad everyones ok!
I make it a habit to check the belt on my sons seat cause my SD has a habit of "accidentally" unbucklin the wrong one! Grrrrrr.....

OMG, Chrystal, why didnt you call me? Im so sorry that happened to you guys. Im glad Beth is okay. Try making a habit of checking the car seat from now on before you put her in. Its easy to "accidentally" unbuckle the seat and we dont want anyone else getting close calls like that. thats scarry.
