Veiws on abortion.

I just want to ask before you read on that you don't "bash" my veiw point. I'm just trying to understand why women think it's acceptable and not trying to offend anyone.

I just read a popular question on abortion. My opinion is that the woman should keep the baby. If she really can't keep the child then there are other options out there like adoption. I just don't understand how she could think about abortion at all. I know there are many women who are pro abortion but I just don't understand it.

Do these women know what abortion means? I looked it up on the net and WIkipedia says it's the removal of a fetus from the uterus, resulting in it's death. A fetus, according to the Merriam-Webster means a developing human from usually two months after conception to birth.

so from my general understanding, it's killing another human being.

But, I also understand some of the reasons women have abortions, like rape or if the mother's life is endangered. However, is rape really a reason to kill the unborn child? Even if that baby was unwanted, is it really their fault?

I'm at a total loss on what to think if the mother's life is endangered.

I guess I would like to ask any women out there that if you're considering abortion because your scared about what might happen, that you think twice.

I posted to someone's journal earlier that my view point is that I'm pro-choice, it's just not my choice. I believe that women have the right to make their choices as they see fit. Many states if not all states have laws that state after a pregnancy reaches a certain point they are not allowed to perform abortions. Esp. in cases of rape, you're right it's not the unborns fault, yet the awful feeling of being raped is hard enough to cope with... some women have the mentality that the unborn inside them is part monster because of what happened to them. So as I said above every woman has the right to her choice, without walking a mile in her shoes it's hard to understand where she is coming from.

Well you didn't offend me. I am 100% pro-life, always have been always will be.  I myself can't understand it.  I had a close friend when I was in the Army and she got pregnant by this guy who was married and also in the Army, I was married to my ex-husband at the time and we were trying hard to have a baby.  She came to me and asked me to drive her to the abortion place (planned parenthood or whatever you call it?)  I told her I would not. I told her she is my friend, but I could not help her to kill her unborn baby, but I told her I would love to adopt her baby (because like I said, my ex-husband and I were having a hard time concieving) She said she would think about it.  Well the next day, she was absent from formation.  She had another girl in our unit take her to the abortion place.  Needless to say I was livid.

Well Im With You Im Totally Against Abortion I Mean Girls Go Out And Have Sex And They Should No What Can Come From it ..Look At Me Im 16 years old and Have a baby. Never once Did Abortion Come Across my mind because i knew if i wanted to experment with sex what can come from it. And Even If I Couldnt Had My Baby Logan I Would Have Choosen The Option Of Adoption Not Taking An Innocent Kids Life Who Did not choose to be born..Nor Did They Choose for their mom to spread her legs knowing what could have come about! Now about the girls who get raped and pregnant I still see no excuse yes I know its a painful memory but still dont kill a child over someone elses mistake or wrong doing have the baby and give it up to some family who cant have kids ! Im Totally against it and I think doctors who do this are morally wrong and should be arrested for murder ! I mean why dont the doctors get arrested for doing this but say a pregnant girl gets in a fight and loses the baby the person they fought with gets conviced of murder right? so why not doctors?

As sad as it may seem in the eyes of the Government the fetus' is not considered a human being until a certain point. While I agree with the above comment that women should not open their legs if they are not willing to suffer the consequences. I do ask you Crazii4x3him, to think about the situation of rape. It's one of those easier said then done things. There is a high suicide rate with women who have been raped... imagine if that woman were pregnant. It's hard to pass judgement on someone in a situation like that because of the trauma of the rape.. I knew someone who took her own life because she became pregnant from being a victim of rape... While we may not understand it there are some situations that unthinkable things to you and I may be the person's only way out

im going to be honest when i first found ojt i was pregnant i did consider abortion i was scared helpless and didnt know how to tell my parents i went to freinds for support some of them told me look abortion costs about 600 thats alot less money that your gna spend on that baby if u let him live..coming from a girl thats had about 6 abortions...but no i could already feel love for my son...my mil hateful bitch wanted mt to abort.took me to the court house to sign paper yes i signed them* but remember i was stupid and more....i didnt care about my body that was creating this new life..but i knew deep in my heart that i was going to be a great mother and loved my baby more than i loved life, i couldnt stand knowing that i hadgone to the abortion clinic to get a sonogram the nurse didnt show it to me i was changing and i saw the little fetus..and thats when my life came caround i thought hey im not a murderer..so even though i live with my parents i still love my child unconditionally im going to college to help support him..and with the little amount of moneyh i have he doesnt need anyythng more...but i stroinglybelieve that women who do that are cold heartless people who shoudlnt have deserved to live themselves...
