My Angel

My daughter Kristen O'Hara was born in New Jersey on December 06, 1987 and entered
into eternal rest on September 11, 2007. She was 19 years old and was killed in a car accident. Those who know and love her (which is a great many) will keep Kristen with them wherever they may go.
Kristen was one of the most beautiful people one would ever meet, both inside and out.
Her piercing blue eyes could light up any room she entered. Kristen loved basketball,
and anyone that has ever seen her play knows how passionate she was about it. A sense
of humor no one could ever look past, Kristen's sarcasm and jokes were just one of the
many graces of her personality. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends, no
matter the time or place--the more, the better.
One of the comforts my family and I have found during this tragic time is that Kristen
said goodbye to us all in the same fashion she loved to live her life, with everyone she
loved and cherished surrounding her.
The pain and sorrow that we all feel now, we will continue to feel for some time to
come. My only hope is that through photographs, stories, memories, and prayers, we
may all keep Kristen with us no matter what. I personally believe, as many of us do, that
she is watching over us all with those same beautiful blue eyes, guiding us to live our
lives to the fullest and with as much love and laughter as possible.
To those who may not have been aware, Kristen's organs were donated to save the lives
of others. To date, we know that a portion of her liver was donated to an infant, saving
one precious life that had just begun. This is just one of the many ways that Kristen will
continue to live on, and this is what she would have, without a doubt, wanted.
Comforting love among family and friends is what we all need right now. Let us all
continue to live peaceful, honest, and loving lives, in which we may never ever let go of
the memory of our beautiful angel, Kristen Theresa.
May the peace and blessings of God be with us all, for now and forever.
