I love this time of year, I always have!! Even as a child I loved to get ready to start a new school year, the new clothes, school supplies...ohhhhhhh baby!

This year i am kind of sad though. My oldest is going into first grade and my baby is starting pre-K. This is the first year that our school district is offering universal pre-K. That means my baby will catch a bus in the morning then go 5 days a week for about 3 hours a day. I wasn't really prepared to put him on a bus this year, I thought I was going to have another year of driving him and still being the center of his world. But I am proud of him, he is so smart, he is just going to take off!

So yes I love this time of year, and next week me and my daughter are going to have a girls day out and do all her school shopping. I remember doing it with my mom so I can't wait to pass it on to my girl. A full day of shopping, lunch and then possibly a movie if time allows.
