July Is National Ice Cream Month

Mmmm, ice cream.   Really, I don't think I've ever met a flavor that I didn't like.  There are a couple ice cream places that we go to on hot summer nights.  One bakery stays open late and serves gelato and sorbets that they made.  Each day there are new flavors to try.  Blackberry cassis, peach cobbler, espresso...every one is delicious.   When we are grocery shopping, there is one flavor that my husband and I both love- coffee icecream. And somehow, a carton always finds its way into the shopping cart.  Our wegmans makes a french roast kind that is wonderful, and Starbucks ice cream is always a winner.  But,  when I want to have ice cream all to myself,  I go back to my standbys- butter pecan, maple walnut and peanut butter cup.  No one likes them except for me...and that just means more ice cream for me!
