Sophia Is Not Happy

Ryan had to leave for work while Sophia was still napping. She went down around 2:00 and he left at 2:45. She was barely hanging on and I figured if she was napping, we wouldn't have tears when he left.

She was so excited when she woke up. That is until she came out of our room and noticed Ryan wasn't here. "Where my Daddy?!?" When I told her he was at work she kind of flipped. She went to the window to check for the car. When it really wasn't there, the crying got worse.

I ended up printing a picture of her and Ryan and putting it in a plastic frame. She is now walking around with it saying, "I love my Daddy" and kissing him.

She is a Daddy's girl.

OMG, even thought his post is about Sophia, this photo of Ryan looks JUST like BUB!  Of all of them Sophia looks just like YOU!

You do have the cutest kids ever at any rate!  Call me tomorrow afternoon.  I have a class until 12:00 CST, but I'll be home after 1:00.  Call me when the kiddos are napping!

Daddy's Girls rock.  YOU rock for gicing Sophia a framed picture of her Daddy to have for herself.

My mom put a little picture of my dad in a plastic pin-on name-tag holder and pinned it in my pocket when he was at sea.  I missed him so much that I didn't make it through whole school days until she came up with that brilliant idea.  I ALWAYS had my Daddy in my pocket when he was gone to sea.
