HELP......I'M DROWNING (IN MOMMY WEBSITES!)

Ok, so I have very little time as it is, and it seems like everyday there are two more sites that I get referred to or stumble upon.  ENOUGH!!! Who has time for it?  I am now a member of cafemom, clubmom, facebook, myspace....I'm sure there are others that I can't remember.   I don't have time for it all.   SO I have decided to be true to my first loves MYSPACE (hcard76) & CAFEMOM ....   I am far too competetive to be a part-time member of clubmom.... I want to be the "daily winner", and I don't have time for facebook.... it's myspace just not as cool!!! lol  Do any of you feel like your being a bad cafemom too?  I love cafemom & you all.... I just noticed that nobody seems to be looking at my pics or posting anything but group e-mails (which I'm totally guilty of)  Are you all somewhere else or just busy with the kids too?  Let's just stay here & be happy & healthy

lol im only a member of myspace and cafemom cuz i love being able to devote all my free time to the two of them lol. if i had any others i would be half-assing it haha. missed you girl...

HAha, I love this, cause it's so the exact situation I'm in. Been having a hard time keeping up with even this site, (maybe cause I'm back at work, and it FINALLY warmed up outside.....) *sigh*

maybe I just need to quit being a lazy ass! LOL

I do feel bad for not being on here as much as I was at first...but my first love was myspace and I'm very dedicated to that...And now it seems like most of my cafemom friends are on there too...which is awesome!!  I do come on here at least twice a week and check my messages and try to read a few posts...but its hard, like you said, to keep up with everything.

Apr. 5, 2007 at 1:11 PM OMG!  That's so funny that you posted this.... I recently went to a mommy focus group. It was for 2 hours - they asked a bunch of questions, one of which was this..."Do any of the moms belong to any mommy sites?" Bc this focus group was in Los Angeles - most of the websites were based on Los Angeles sites....I was surprised no one was on Cafemom though! Alot of them said myspace, but, there is another like organicmom, etc. too funny. It was fun to actually have someone want to hear about what most moms worry about, that I'm not the only one. although the moms in this focus group were new moms, and young! WOW! Did I feel very old in this group. I was the oldest mom - they were from 29 & 17 month old kid to 38 & 8 yr old kids. I was the oldest and with the most and oldest kids!!!! Although I didn't look the oldest! AH! But, hey, I was fed and paid $100.00 cash!!!! not bad for 2 hours of asking mommy Q & A's!!!!

I learned about CafeMom from a friend of mine and I am on MySpace as well.

I am on What to Expect 99.9% of the time....lol. If you're bored go to  www.whattoexpect.com and check it out! They have a bunch of forums such as First Year Board (which I was part of since Soleil was born) and a SAHM, WAHM, Toddler board and of course, Trying to Concieve and so much more. I shouldn't be getting you into more trouble than you are.........lol.

Apr. 20, 2007 at 12:05 PM I am only on CafeMom and ClubMom (a little)....But I don't get too much time to write emails and things. But it has been really nice when I do to have someone to talk to. I stay home with the kiddos, so the only adult I see for weeks is my husband....I LOVE him to pieces....but I have seen him for the past 23 YEARS!!! ♥

I know how you feel... there are even more mom sites out there, I was thinking of joining yet another but I feel bad enough neglecting Nylah as it is to get my Cafemom fix.
