To say that my life is full, is an understatement.  My life is bursting at the seams...LOL..
I am blessed to still have my high school sweetheart and his love is still strong for me...THANK GOD!
I am blessed with three beautiful, silly, spoiled children..LOL...  I know its my fault.  Who's to know that really what you teach them sticks....Ha Ha....  Liz still matches her clothes real well, Will still drives me crazy, and Jells is just learning all these lovely personality traits.. So it won't be long.
Daily I get out of bed and wake up the girls, now I am not a morning person, so when I wake up its about 7:30 or 8:30 AM.  I usually wait about half an hour before waking up the kids.  The girls are first because they are so easy to wake up.  It does not take a shower in bed to wake them up.....but it takes that for my son.....I know that he is just like me, not a morning person, but come on....if I could sleep till noon I would love it...Yet life has things for me to do, like breakfast for the family, laundry, mopping, and school work...

Liz is now a sophomore, we have been teaching her at home for going on ten years now.  I remember we cried together while learning phonics in 1st grade.. I did not know them and neither did she.  But how great it was when I finally figured them out right and so did she.  Will began learning at home mid year of Kindergarten.  Teacher was not fond of boys.  Will still says that Miss. Baca hated him because she never sent him home with a smiley face, it was always a frown.  He was a tough one to teach phonics to...We went thru many different programs.  Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons was the best book I have ever purchased for him.. He finally got it. Not to mention that we had to get a reading teacher to work with the two older ones for a year or so to get them caught up to  "grade level"
Now Jell she is the youngest and just now learning to read, she knows her phonics and is now learning how to put those sounds together to form words. She is real good at memorizing books, what 6 year old isn't.  I am learning right along with the kids, now don't get me wrong, I did graduate high school and beauty school, but Algebra?????  Where should I begin???  I failed Algebra!!!  period.
But now look at me go, we are using Video Text Algebra, which is 6 modules beginning at pre-algebra and extending through and ending with Algebra 2.  Right now we are in mid algebra 1 and having lots of fun with it.  See an old dog can learn new tricks...LOL....
Right now I am overseeing the education of a sophomore, a 7th grader and a 1st grader and loving it.  The stress comes and goes but the end of the tunnel shows success for me and my children...
Thank you New Mexico for allowing us to Home School our children, we all really appreciate it.
