What's the Point?

Do you ever feel as if you are just one tiny minnow in a huge sea of blogs and people online? 

I know I do.......CafeMom is so full of women and activities that it couldn't actually exist as a place outside of internet.  It is so unreal how many people are here!  

Anyway, I just had to get that off my chest.  I think my kids are too old for most women here to be interested in what i have to say. My youngest is 8 and my oldest is 13.  I have noticed that the majority here  like to discuss

breastfeeding :gag: and things like that.  I have been there and WAY done that!  

Ok.........that's it!

I've got a 13 year old and a 2 year old...  I'm beyond all the baby issues and I have more concerns and questions about my teen then my toddler...  I, too feel lost among the sea of people here sometimes...

I guess we need to join a group that discusses teens...have you noticed how fast they are growing up now? :cry:

Awww, I'll pm some groups to you that you might be interested in. 

I'm sorry it feels like that.  My youngest is only one, but I don't go online to talk about her diapers and I stopped breastfeeding MONTHS ago.  I get to talk about kids ENOUGH at home, I don't want to do it on the internet too!
