Although the discussion has been about stereotypes, the stereotypes we hold fester in the perceptions of differences we have of one another. Are we really so different?

I certainly hope you weren't trying to get people to feel sorry for the Palestinian terrorists who have brought much devastation on their own people. That's pretty pathetic if you were. The difference between fathers lost on 9-11 and the ones who choose to strap bombs on and kill themselves along with countless innocent victims is just that, INNOCENSE! There's a HUGE difference between going about your everyday business and those who premeditate the murder of innocent people. Our soldiers are fighting to keep us free from oppression and to free the already oppressed.
The difference between the nun and the muslim woman is that the nun chooses to be a free servant of Jesus and the muslim woman chooses to be a slave to allah. So yes, there are differences. Does that mean we have to hate one another, no. But you cannot say we're all the same.
How was Iraq a threat to our freedom? somebody, please tell me!

Wow, somebody is looking for her daily dose of drama again.... Where does it say ANYTHING about ANYBODY in that video being terrorists? And please, explain to me how a nun (who, by the way, has to make all sorts of vows, including those of purity and poverty) has more freedom than a muslim woman?
The video ADMITS that yes, there are differences, but there are also similarities, and why don't we focus on those?
And Iraq was never a threat to our freedom.... Or wait, was it because of those weapons of... Nope, that proven to be a lie. Or ummm....those terrorists were from there...Nope, they in fact were NOT. Hmmm, let's see... What else can we come up with?

Well I believe you just got the answer. The biggest difference of all and the reason our similarities are never enough is because of people like Grammacheese up there that are too ignorant and hateful to embrace our differences and be accepting of others instead of thinking her way is the only way and killing anything that's not stark white and Christ loving is the way to do it.
