Years mean nothing anymore

I would just like to request prayer for my family from those that believe in prayer.  There are several things going on in my life right now that need to be prayed over.   When I say that it seems like years mean nothing is that one of  my situations is my parents.  They have been married since 1978 or 1979.  Just over 12 years ago I lost my brother in a car accident.  He was 16.  It eventually threw my dad into alcoholism.  He has lost uncles to liver cancer because of it and he thinks that b/c he's not sick he doesn't have a problem.  Now my mom has had enough of it and she doesn't think she has anymore options.  She has talked and talked and talked to my dad about things several times.  She feels like her only option now is to leave my dad.  At any age for someone to see there parents divorce is just upsetting and all that.  They are going to counceling but after the first session he was sober for like 2 days then this entire past week he stayed outside all night long and came in hammered everynight

I would like to thank those that have prayed for my family.  My parents seem to be ok but you never really know what is in someones heart and mind.  As the cold season is coming  in very rapidly I hope that you all are safe through this time of year I will pray for all of you to be safe for the holidays (now through the New year) God Bless aand have a wonderful day  C_a_hankins
