I am so frustrated with my son's school!  He starts kindergarten on 8/21 and I still don't know if he's going in the morning or afternoon.  It isn't that big of a deal since I don't work, but what about parents that will need to find a sitter or work their schedule around it!  He is my oldest so this is my first time dealing with an elementary school.  The school he has to go to doesn't seem to care about giving it's parents info.  Other schools in the district are having kindergarten programs to help make the kids comfortable and less nervous.  Our school said they were going to do something like this back in May, but I haven't heard any info on when this is supposed to occur.  My DH left a message asking when we will find out about morning or afternoon and if there will be a kindergarten orientation day.  That was 2 days ago and we haven't gotten a call back.  How unprofessional.  We're hoping to move out of this area next summer but I wish we could do it now.  I'm not looking forward to my son going to this school.  The principal doesn't seem to like to do her job and I wonder if the teachers do.
