Fancy that, I was just going to post about this and it happens to be the topic of the day!

I have been putting off 2 very important things.

#1 - getting my butt in gear to finish my college classes.  I only have about 10 left for my BA.  I know I missed the cut off for UCF (I will be a new student there since I finished BCC a few months ago).  So  I will need to do it before the January semester starts.

#2 - DIET!  I have gained so much weight since my surgery in October.  I am starting to really hate myself for it.  I hate to look in the mirror or get on the scale.  I hate to clothes shop.  I just hate the way I look in general...so here is what I need to do:

  • Quit drinking soda
  • No more ice cream
  • No more french fries
  • No more pie at Woody's
  • Cut down on the pasta
  • Drink more water
  • EXERCISE (When??  I wish I could go back to my gym but the price went up!)  This is probably the thing I need help with the most.  I don't like to do things alone.  I miss walking at night with Caryn, life kept getting in the way and she had to continue without me :(

A few other things I need to do is "spring cleanning" and re-doing the kids rooms.  They both need to be painted (wall paper peeled first) and decorated!

I know there is more I need to do above, but I can't think of them right now. 

Any inspiration or advice anyone has for me (especially for the weight) would greatly be appreciated!!!

I could have written this post myself!  lol  I have the same goals as you and I just need to get my butt in gear!


Would you be interested in a weight loss partner?  I need someone to help motivate me as well and keep me honest and accountable for what I eat ect.  Let me know if you would be interested!

I just started a weight loss regimine. I was diagnosed with COPD a few weeks ago and I was shocked to see I gained a TON of weight. Have you tried the YMCA in titusville or cocoa? I got here, and the rates are reasonable, especially if you are a student.

 You can walk with me on a Tues and Friday evening to start with if you like...those are my cross training days so those walks are extra...when you get into it/up to speed again <you can do it!! I did!!

 and after a resonable time..you can join me on my regular training walks.

 

 As for your diet..its a good looking list but i personally (i know you!! and i know how i lost my weigh too) am hoping that you plan to start off with one or two items at a time..otherwise thats going to be too restrictive..

 so how about starting off with more water  and no soda for one week..then add another one in.

 let me know if you need any help with this! ive had experience and im right down the street
