Boycotting the Olympics?

GOOD FOR YOU! I had decided to boycott this years' games when I heard they were near and where they were going to be.  Not that I've ever cared for the Olympics but this year I'm purposefully avoiding the chance that I might support them in some way.  I now know that I've made the right decision.  I've been angered by the world's lack of action in Darfur for years.  I've been angered by China's ability to continue to profit and gain so much from the situation, as well.  Now I see that China doesn't want to put politics aside for this event, the Olympics.  I feel validated and hope that those that WERE supporting the Olympics finally see why people like me are boycotting.

lucas...

We won't be watching the Olympics and will avoid as many companies that sponsor them.  It will be hard but not too bad since we are not huge consumers anyway.
