My son's father got married Sunday 08/03/08. It bothers me cause he was trying to get my son Saturday nite and I rejected due to the fact that my son was already planned to go out of town the next  moring with my aunt. He kept saying he has something going on and wanted him there, he never told me what exactly it was. well anyways Tuesday I checked my  and his oldest son who has a myspace page sent me a msg saying "Hi" to me and his brother and showing love, well I went-on his page cause he always posting pictures that he wants me to look at and I saw the one titled "Da Wedding" so I checked out the pics and it his day and girlfriend of 2 yrs getting married at the apt they share. Her 4 kids were there along with his two sons minus mine. I felt that if he really wanted him there he would have put in more effort to get him or at least tell me. I think that he kept it from me cause it might hurt me but it really does not bother me as it would have a year ago. I am kinda happy for him!!! As long as he be father to my son and continue to help support him I am good. I have a wonderful man in my life who one day we make take that step.

I agree.....if it was that important to him he should have said why he wanted your son there. I'm sure your son would have wanted to be there too.....he should have thought about how his son was going to feel being left out....too late.

Glad to see your not hurt.....sounds like you have gone on with your life and thats wonderful!
