Good news ladies!!!!

I have found happiness!!! My best friend of three years and I have decided to take our relationship to the next level.  I had to let go of my issues with my sons father to realize that i was in love with my best friend.  He might not have everything, but he treats my son like his own and he treats me like a queen.  I wants to propose to me this year, and i am excited.  The only problem is him meeting my family. they r so judgemental, but I hope that they love me enough to except him.  If they don't then thats their problem because money isn't everything.

He had a tough life, and now he is trying to get himself together.  My family wants me to be with someone who does not have a tough look, and who has money.

 I'm happy for you but let him get himself "together" before you settle down with him for good.Have you talked to him about going to school?

he wants to go back to school.  he wants to get married next year.

I don't think the way someone looks should matter to your parents. I am a pierced and tattooed mommy with blue hair....doesn't make me less of a good person although some people give me those cutting looks like it does. As long as he is good to you and yours then there shouldn't be a problem and your parents should respect that.
