The bus came from the wrong way at the crowded intersection of my street and main street.  The bus driver didn't see us. I took off running in my flip flops and a sweatsuit that's a little too big and also low cut. I was holding an umbrella. Poor Ashley was hustling behind me with her 50 pound backpack, lunchbox, and Dollar General Store bag of Kleenex, wipes, and paper towels. She kept yelling, "Mama! Pull up your pants! Everybody can see your butt!".  The bus released the brake and started to pull off, so I sprinted the last 30 feet or so, and apparently, my pink thong panties and most of my fat ass were hanging out.  Damn! I wasn't worried about fashion or fit when I dressed! I didn't know I'd be running, I thought I would just stand there and blow her a kiss!  The crowded Speedway and BP patrons were attentive. Also, both lanes of traffic that had stopped for the bus and were watching to see if I would be able to catch it......

Ashley was mortified and silent as she boarded the schoolbus. Then I had to run back across both lanes of morning rush hour traffic when the bus pulled away and again the thong and fat ass were visible.  I could see her big eyes gazing in horror from the window.  "Have a great first day of school, Honey!"
