I don't know if anyone will read this, but if you do I would like input. Why is it that when you reply to a post and have an informed educated and RESPECTFUL response no one will touch it. But you end it with that it's your opinion and people jump all over you? Aren't each equally valued. I attended a school of theology and recently posted several educated comments and answered honestly some really good questions. I used a philisophical stand point which were more universally accepted and yet still support Christian beliefs. I get nothing. But the girl who couldn't answer the questions without anything more than "I don't know, I'm human," Got applauded and actually was asked more questions. I don't understand. I don't believe I was speaking over people's heads and was encouraging questions. You can't learn without questions. That's how faith develops. Do people not WANT educated responses? There was nothing wrong with the other girl's responses. She WAS respectful and did give her honest opinion. But they were the cliche Sunday School answers. I didn't think non-believers wanted to hear cliches? I know I sound a little preachy right now, and possibly somewhat arrogant. I don't mean to. It was actually humbling. I guess people aren't as interested in theology as I am. I just have to remind myself that everyone's different I guess.
My husband says they didn't respond because they didn't know what to say. I don't think that's right.

I'm new on here so I don't know what postings you made but from my experence I have found alot of people don't really want an honest educated answer when it comes to religion or politics. My Grandpa always told me not to put either into any conversation . As for my self I enjoy hearing all points of view even if I don't agree with them no matter how educated the person may be. I never condemn anyone for their point of view.
