Amelia is 1 and 1/2. She started teething after turning 1, and is getting lots of teeth at once now, I think she's up to 9.
(I say I think because yesterday there were 9 but today there may be 10 or 11 and I wouldn't be surprised.)

She's usually a very good non-picky eater, but suddenly only wants milk (2nd stage formula)... Do toddlers not want to chew when their molars are coming in, or is it just her 1st picky eater phase? She seems to take some foods in her hands repeatedly, put them to her mouth, then cry as if she wants to eat and can't. At first I thought she may have bitten her tongue while playing, but apparently it comes and goes.

So does it sound like her teeth? Or her declaration of independence?

I hope she feels better!

Ditto betsy! I dont recommend using baby orajel either bc i used it on my wisdom teeth when they were coming in and it was burning my tissue around my gums and burnt like hell!! the dentist office said that it does that and that i shouldnt use it on myself therefore i wouldnt use it on my baby :P but maybe some tylenol would help you get a meal down... teething is the worst part of year 2 :( GOOD LUCK!!!!! I hope she feels better soon!
