Sometime it feels like autism has taken over my life.  Our current schedule:

Swimming lessons Monday - Friday 10:30 until 12:00 then about a half hour of crafts or playground play

Monday 2-4:30 4 yo TSS

Tues 10-4 10 YO TSS

Wednesday Work for me yeah! 4 yo at sitter unitl his TSS picks him up 2-4/5.  One of my DD stays at sitter the other comes to work with me  alternating girls. This is the only way that ANYONE gets one on one time.

Thursday 10 yo TSS 10-4 Hippotherapy 6:30 PM 10 yo

Friday TSS 2-4/5 4 yo  10 YO Occupational therapy 11:30

Most days the 4 yo is having morning meltdowns.  then tired by the time his TSS arrives, I need to change that.

He's currently reading at about a 2nd grade level, but socially behind.  They apparently can't do an IQ test until he is 5?  So no intermediate unit help for him because he isn't delayed.  Yet he has to wait and extra year before kindergarden because he has an October birthday.  What?  I fear he will have  behavoiral issues from not being accademically challenged.

!0 YO is now on Risperdal.  She seems to be much calmer and way less flightly.  Still, I hate the fact that she is on meds.  But life without is crazy.

Sigh, I could never manage to have a regular 9-5 job right now.  Thankful I am self employed but have been unable to let my busines grow. Can't handle any new clients right now.  They upped my catastrophic illness premium again by annother 50 bucks.  I think I might be better off putting that premium into my retirment fund.

My 4 1/2 yr old son just started taking Risperdal 2-3 weeks ago.  His appetite increase, which I knew of this was going to happen.  But, it's great since he has no interest in food.  His demenoir isn't so aggressive and assertive. Which is great too.   So, I'm loving it for him for me.  I too hate that he has to take meds, but, hopefully with intense therapy he won't have to take it for sooooo long.

How is the weight issue with your little one on that med?  Do you find it hard to manage the weight?  Or is it not a issue?
