Laundry has been taking up a lot of my time lately. I'm addicted to the widget on Cafemom, lol. I am not quite sure why, but I am enjoying wasting my time doing it! I must have been paying way too much attention to my pretend laundry and not my real laundry because a pen EXPLODED in my dryer today.
Luckily it was with a load of towels (I have no clue why a pen was mixed with towels) and I am not too concerned about the resulting stains. The basin looks hideous though and residue is still coming off on washcloths. Ask.com recommended rubbing alcohol to get rid of the residue and then running old towels on high heat to ensure the ink would not come off on anymore clothing. I am all done with the rubbing alcohol part BUT am a little worried to run the load as rubbing alcohol is flammable! Anyone been through this?? I am scared I'll start the load and blow up the house!
Anyway, laundry has taken up WAY too much of my life today!

lol! I have had that happen to me before too and used the rubbing alcohol to clean it off. I've also had crayon, magic marker and for some odd reason my child decided to put an orange in there one time...a whole one! lol! Try some oxiclean in the wash OR some dryel spot remover (that comes with the dryel kit)...half a bottle of that in the wash with a scoopful of oxyclean added to your detergeant, if you want to get the ink out of the towels...it's what usually works for me. :D

As it turns out, the rubbing alcohol worked great and my dryer did not blow up, lol! :)
