Today I took my daughter over to my sisters to play with their 2 yr old and (almost) one year old. Well there was a calculator that she lets the kids play with all the time. It was one of those flat ones, not a scientific one. Which seemed fine because everything was shut tight. Well my daughter brought it into the 2 yr olds room and we thought oh ok, no big deal their just playing with it.

Then about a half hour later, my sister went to get the calculator so it wasn't lieing around to be steped on and broken. It turned out that her son some how got it open and the batteries were missing.
We looked but couldn't find any. So needless to say we took them all to the docs. to get them x-rayed. Her son ended up swallowing both of the batteries. They then had to take him to a specialist to see if they could pump his stomach. Unfortunatly, the batteries were too far down for that. So the docs gave him a laxative and sent him home.

I just wanted to warn everyone on here to watch your kids more carefully than we were. We just didn't think that was possible :( good thing was he's ok now, just waiting for those batteries to come out.
