I have had so much happen this last month that I finally want to share it all with you. Some of the best moments of my life have happened and some of the saddest. I wanted to share one of the saddest yet it is in honor of a great man. Our bishop of our church died a little over a week ago. It was unexpected and very tragic the way he died. We are all pretty shook up as a neighborhood and as a congregation. There has even been crisis counselors at church last week to help everyone understand. He was a man who counseled everyone. He was so full of life and service. I have found myself walking by his house many times just feeling the comfort of him being home and was there if I needed him. He made everyone feel important. He made everyone feel as if he will do anything for them. You could call him night or day and he would calm a storm. He was always smiling. He was always positive. He loved the youth and I heard relentlessly all year long about his famous dutch oven he would cook for the scouts each year on their week scouting trip. He was so proud of the boys that it would almost get annoying to hear of his constant praise to the leaders and the boys. That is all he ever talked about. He praised his wife publicly and reminded her all the time on how much he loved her and his family.  He loved everyone and everyone loved him. In honor of him I want to serve willingly others the way he served. I want to love others the way he loved. I want to honor Jesus Christ the way he honored Him. He had an amazing funeral and I felt not only His spirit there but a host of angels as if descended down from heaven supporting those who mourn the loss of this man.  It was mentioned in two talks that he lives on that he is not dead because of the sacrifice of our Saviour.  It is hard not to have this comforting man around in our lives but he will continue his work of service and love into the next life and one more friendly face that I will recognize when it is my turn.
 ~~~Thank you Bishop Williams! We love you!~~~
That made me cry.  I can almost see him for some reason.  We all need to be like Bishop Williams.  Imagine what he saw when he came to Jesus with his arms wide open embracing our Saviour.  WOW.  I bet Jesus was really proud of him.  Well Done Bishop Williams.  Well done.
