Dear Vendor friends,
This is a letter that is being sent out to recruit vendors for an upcoming fundraiser for my daughter, Gabby who received a Heart Transplant last year. If you are in the DFW area and are interested in participating, please contact Dianne Lester with the contact info listed in the letter below. There is also a registration form attached. Only 1 vendor from each company will be there, and it is on a first come basis. For more information about the Childrens Organ Transplant Association, please visit http://www.cota.org. For more information about Gabby's COTA campaign please visit http://www.aheartforgabbyrose.com. If you have any friends or contacts that might be interested as well, please pass this information on. We want this to be a huge successful event! Just in time for Christmas shopping too!
Thank you all for your support!

Dear Friend:
Did you know that at any given moment, almost 100,000 children and adults are awaiting an organ transplant? And that an average 18 people die everyday due to the lack of available organs? The numbers are overwhelming, but there is a way you can help. A child right here in Dallas needs help to pay for expenses related to a transplant.
The family of three-year-old Gabriella Rose Iezzi (Gabby), from right here in Dallas, has asked our community and the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for help. COTA provides fundraising assistance for children and young adults who need, or have had, a life-saving transplant and promotes organ, marrow and tissue donation. Gabby had a heart transplant on March 6, 2007, and needs help with expenses related to the transplant. Our goal is to raise $80,000 to assist with transplant-related expenses. At this time we have raised over $26,000.
A team of Gabby’s family and friends are asking you as a vendor to help us with our “Treasures from the Heart Shopping Spree” event on December 6, 2008, to be held at Highlands Christian Church, 9949 McCree Rd., Dallas, TX 75238 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Gabby is the daughter of Greg and Lara Iezzi. Lara is involved with several home businesses, such as Avon, Tupperware, The Sample Bag, and Usborne Books and you have possibly met her at different networking events.
If you are interested in representing your business at our shopping event, the booth fee is $100 and will include a covered table and chair. Your registration fee will go in Gabby’s COTA fundraising account and you will receive a receipt for charitable tax purposes. You will be selling or taking orders for your own business. We would also like for you to donate a door prize for special drawings. We are counting on your generosity of time, energy and resources. Will you help Gabby?
Thank you for your consideration. This is a wonderful opportunity to attract holiday shoppers to your business while contributing to a good cause! If you have questions, please call Dianne Lester, Campaign Coordinator, at 972-490-9167, or email Dianne at DianneJL@aol.com. For your convenience a registration form is attached.
To learn more about Gabby and COTA please check out her website, www.aheartforgabbyrose.com.
Together, we can make a life-saving difference for Gabby Iezzi!
Sincerely,
