Ok I'm not sure yet if I'm pro choice or pro life and I just want to know what would you rather have? Here's my question....
If your not ready for a baby then why not protect yourself with both a condom and birth control?Unless you were raped or you had something wrong medically then why not use both instead of using abortion as a form of birth control? What if you did get AIDs or some other disease instead of a baby? What would you do then? You can't wash away AIDs and many other diseases or just say "Hey doc I'm sick cure me!"Why wouldn't you use a condom or birth control or for the most both?

Please don't confuse being pro-choice with being "pro-abortion". They are VERY different things. Obviously, ideally everybody would prefer abortion was never necessary. But things aren't as black and white as you put them, either. Yes, if you are going to be sexually active, you SHOULD use every precaution possible. However, there are certain situation where you don't have a choice. Say you're a 13-year-old girl, not sexually active, who gets raped by a family member. A young woman, not currently sexually active, getting raped by a stranger. A mother of 2, who gets told her current pregnancy puts her life in danger. And yes, sometimes birth control fails. It's not common, but it does happen. And if those women took the precaution, know they can't handle having a child right now, who am I to tell them what to do? There will always be women who take advantage of the right to an abortion, and believe me, I don't agree with that at all. But for those legitimate cases, I don't feel that right should be taken from them because of a few bad apples.
So yes, I'm pro-choice. And I will remain so for the rest of my life. I don't pretend to know anybody's circumstances or reasons for choosing abortion, and I don't believe I have the right to tell a woman what to do with her own body.... However, I will say that I'm a strong supporter of better sexual education too. I'm constantly appalled at how little today's teenagers seem to know about birth control and being responsible while sexually active. I think if we teach today's youth better, you will see the rate of abortions going down.

I'm a pro-life woman. I like how you presented this. You took the issue and looked at from another view. There are statistics out there that show a good portion of women that do have abortions are not related to financial problems, birth defects, drug use, or rape. The reason for abortion was the mother just didn't want the child.
