Hello everyone,

I've been sewing for as long as I can remember.  When you create things with you too hands, you become very connected to them.    My ex husband has recently decided to not pay child support, which has put me into some financial distress.  I now have to sell some of my favorite creations.    I decided to try and sell them here before putting them on e bay, in the hopes that someone from one of my vintage groups will love and enjoy them as much as I have.

All of these Items are handmade and fit sizes 12 to 14.

1) 3 piece 40's style  outfit, includes Skirt, blouse, and Jacket     All 3 pieces are out of print  Retro Butterick patterns  -Skirt is # 6699, Blouse is  # 6700, & Jacket is #6701 .   All pieces are in great condition . Asking price $150

The Jacket is a Satin back Silk Dupioni.

The Blouse is  silk chiffon, and the skirt is a poly chiffon.

2) 1940'5 style Dress.  I love what this dress does for my figure.  The design and piping in the front slim the waist and create beautiful curves.  It's powder pink with tiny black polka dots.  the zipper is in the side and there are 4 tiny buttons at the back neck line.  This dress was made with Vintage Vogue Pattern # 2787.  Made from Poly Rayon.  This piece is in Excellent condition.    Asking price $50

3)1950 Style dress.  It's super cute on the body and hangs beautifully.  This dress is around a size 14 and made from Vintage Vogue pattern # 2288.  The skirt of the dress is made with crepe back satin (crepe side out).  And the top is a cool vintage print of several city sky lines ( the New York sky line has Twin Towers) made from cotton.  The pattern depicts  pockets, but I didn't add them to the dress.  This dress is in great condition.  Asking price is $45.

4)  1957 Polka Dot Sun Dress.  This dress was made from a Retro Butterick pattern # 4512.  It fits around a size 12 and is made from a heavy cotton.   The full circle skirt made constructing the dress a bit challenging, but it looks fantastic. The neck strap may need adjusting and the zipper needs to be replaced, other wise the dress is super cute and in good condition.  Asking price  $30.

5) The Marilyn.  Every Vintage loving girl needs one, and this one is a beauty.  I chose a pin stripe  poly rayon for this dress.  It was made from Vintage Vogue pattern # 2962. It is in Excellent condition.  Asking price $60.

6)  It kills me to put this dress on here.  It's so stunning,  and is truly one of a kind.    Made with a gorgeous vintage rayon print.  This is Vintage Vogue pattern # 2494.   It has a side zipper and buttons at the back of the neck line.  It is a full length evening gown from 1948 and it is in Perfect condition. Pop a huge flower in your hair and you're ready to go.  Asking price $100.

These dresses are gorgeous!  The 12's might be too big--perhaps not.  I normally wear a 10, but it all depends on the style.  Even if the 12's fit, I don't have the money right now.  Out of work.  I do love them though.

You're an amazing talent!!  How fun must that be?!?  I need to re-learn the sewing machine still...LOVE hand stitching, details, etc...but I still don't know if I could handle that silk chiffon!  that's tough...love them all!  ;)
