Sometimes, I hate men!

My niece's husband has been leading a double life. She's been married to him for 7 years and has 3 children (5, 2 and 5 months). He travels for work. She just found out that he has been living with another woman in Vegas and promising this other woman that he was going to build her a house in N.O. and bring her and her little girl to live here. He also told her that last week when he came home to go on vacation with his wife and three children he was coming back here because his wife had to be committed and he needed to see about his children. Apparently this other woman wised up and tried to get a hold of my niece. The whole truth came out and now he has no one. However, he left my niece with a cleaned out bank account and in a world of pain. Like I said, sometimes I hate men.

Thanks. It's true about women hurting men, too. All I can do is let my niece know that the whole family is supporting her and we'll be there for her and the kids.

That is just horrible. Sometimes people are the cruelest to the people that are close to them. There is inherent trust that we give those people. Unfortunately inflicting this sort of pain on your spouse/fiance/significant other isn't reserved for just the men out there. I know enough women out there hurting the men in their lives. It's just ignorant no matter who is doing the hurting.
I hope everything works out for the best with your neice.
