How do you conquer all the bullshit to do what you know is best for your kids? Mark lost his job, unemployment hasn't made a decision yet. We have had no income since July 23rd which went to pay rent. Mark is looking for a job but it is hard for him to get one. I know that I could go to my old boss from high school and get a job working fast food again, but I'd be making minimum and wouldn't be able to keep going to school. I am so close to finally being done! I have 2 more years give or take and then I will be a teacher and all of this will be easier. I even have a job through the school but it's only about 15 hours a week, not anywhere near enough money to live on. I was finally able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and then mark got laid off. It feels like we just got plunged back into the abyss. I know that we will find a way to make things work but I am so stressed out! Should I give up school and get a job or wait for unemployment and hope Mark gets a new job soon? How do you not let all of it pull you down into hopelessness?

I pray. It is not always the easiest thing to lean on, but it does work the best. It has helped us some nasty financial messes. What does he do? What kind of work does he do?
