Last winter my son has an ear infection that lasted about 4 to 5 months and he went though 4 rounds of antibiotics. In April he had tubes put in and he hears better since then. The thing is he is almost 22 months old and only says about 10 words. I have been trying to teach him but his attention span is so short and he doesn't seem interested in learning to much. Should I be worried? Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of game or activities may help me to teach him better? I would be happy with any advice. Thanks.

I was state hunting when I saw this journal. Has the doctor put you in touch with any type of Early Intervention? It is basically early childhood education/special ed brought into your home. What you need to do is contact your local school district and they will send you in the right direction. If you have questions please feel free to contact me.
