My 13 year old is KILLING me!!!!

I am at my wits' end on punishments for this kid!!!! No matter what I tell him to do, he does what he wants, no matter the consequences. I am in serious need of some suggestions for some real tough, yet totally legal punishments for this child. I am ready to send him to military school!!!!

Gosh I've been where you are. I have a 14 year old boy. I really don't have much advice I guess. I've tried everything, taking away things, grounding and yes even spanking. I find what helps the most is to calm down and talk to him calmly. We can usually get to the root of the problem that way. Good luck!
