Ok, I am a proud proud mommy today. My Maddy shot a gap advertisement a few months back and we waited oh so patiently for it to come out and just when I had given up and thought that her picture must not have been selected she came out online today! Yippee.
The best part about it is that she is not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside as well. I never thought I would be the type of mommy that would subject her child to the "industry" but let's face it, we were not born with silver spoons in our mouth and if she can make a little money toward her college education, first car or house than why not go for it. I have commited that if it starts to not be fun for her, they tell her to lose weight etc then we are out of it... no questions asked. The funny part of this advertisement is that they had to "alter" a size 12 month dress to fit her by sewing 2 of them together because Gap was specific that they wanted a size 12 month baby... Soooo not my Maddy. LOL...
Check it out... I am proud... http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=36028
Awww,& you should be a proud mommy,Monique!! She's so beautiful! I got so excited when i saw her--i was like "Look, there's Maddy!!" **I was telling my Hubby :) And then i started lookin at the clothes--i've got to get that argyle sweater dress & hat & stockings for Bella. Soooo cute!! Sorry,i'm an argyle addict! Lol. I'm so proud of Maddymoo also! She's such a doll! I feel the same way as you....when she's not happy about it,then you can quit. Other than that, there's no harm in it! Yay for Maddy!! !Good luck w/any other "gigs" :) HUGS TO YOU GUYS!!!!
LMAO I love how on the ad, it says "up to 12 months" and we all know that they made a special one just for her!

Wow, what a cutie pie! You know I don't think there is anything wrong with this, we have even talked about putting Bishop into something like this. Its only a problem when the parents get to crazy with it and try to live out there fantasises through there kids. My cousin did that with her daughter and now her daughter is so messed up.
However, its obvious that you don't have those intentions. So Maddie is going to do great! Plus with her cute face I can't wait to be going through the mall and see her pictures up on display.
