Ok so Monday started out ok. I went to work like always. At about 10:30 am, I got a phone call from my babysiter. Telling me that I needed to go n get Zander who will be 4 on the Aug.25. When I asked why she told me that her mom was babysitting because she had to run somewhere, and that Zander had fallen and cut his finger on a screw ripping his nail half off and she couldn't stop the bleeding. So naturally I freak and straight out the door I went. Thank goodness I do in home care because all my clients are really understanding and made me promise to let them know what happened and if he was ok. Well I went and got him from the babysitters along with my daughter. Dropped off Ky to my mom and to the er we went. We get there and they tell me that I have a two hour wait. Yep the poor kid is really bleeding and I had to wait for over two hours. As time grew on and we watched people go in and come back out. As we are sitting there this woman and her husband came in. They sit down and after about 10 min asks me what is wrong with my son. I told her that he had fallen and cut his finger on a screw and had ripped his nail half off. This woman had the nerve to say " well can't you just take him home put a butterfly bandaid on it so that way the people who really need to be seen can be seen". Yep you read that right that is what she said. I told her that he was only 3 and that I was staying there to see the doctor because I wanted to make sure that was all that was wrong with it. They finally called us back. It didn't take long for the dr to come in. When he did he said that he wanted to soak the finger for a few min. So we did and when he came back he said that he wanted to getxrays. I am glad that he did and that I stayed because Zander had a fractured finger. They splinted his finger and his arm and then discharged us. As we were leaving I seen that same woman still waiting. And of course being the B***h that I am I went to her showed her my son and said very rude but still polite "WELL I AM GLAD I DIDN'T LISTEN TO YOU AS HE HAD A FRACTURED FINGER." Of course she felt bad and then we left. This poor baby has hardly slept and is wearing me out. So to all who has bunk beds, watch the ladders as that is what he was climbing on and it fell on him which is where the screw came from and how he fractured it.
