It is eerily quiet in the house.  Meagan is at her best friend's house.  She spent the last 2 nights there and I have no clue if she is planning on coming home tonight, lol.

Nora is taking a nap.

My dad is asleep.

Hubby went to his physical therapy and won't be back for a few hours.

And Brenna is on her very first playdate alone.  She was so excited.  There is this cute little girl her age at the end of our block and they have been playing together outside this summer.  Today the doorbell rand and she was there with her mom and little sister and asked if Brenna could come over and play.

I thought Brenna was going to burst with excitement.  She's been over there for awhile and as soon as Nora wakes up I'm going to walk down to check on her.

So right now all I have to deal with is Owen who is playin with his LEGOs but has to come in every few seconds to show me a new robot he invented.  I think he is bored with out his sisters to play with but his best bud, Alan, gets out of school in a little bit so I'm sure he'll be outside after that.

*ETA*
Now it is even more quiet.  Hubby is home, Nora is up quietly playing with her block and the LEGOs and both Brenna AND Owen are down at the neighbor's house.

She stopped by and asked if the girls (Brenna and her daughter) could hang on the porch here while she went to get her son from school which, of course, I was fine with.  Then her son (who is Meagan's age) came over to get the girls and said his mom said it was okay if Owen came over, too, which he was excited to do.

Then Owen came home a little while ago and asked if they could stay for dinner.

It has been a strange day and I got a taste of what the school year is going to be like wiht just me and Nora (I think I'm going to go insane from boredom).  Hubby got a call from the physical therapis that he needs to contact his doctor/someone about getting his release back to work.  So, fingers crossed, he'll be back to work within a few weeks.  He's worked a total of 4 weeks in the last year (that was in Nov/Dec).  As much as I like having his *limited* help around the house I want him out so we can get back to some kind of "normal" routine.  I'm not one for strict schedules or routines but he refuses to follow any sort of routine I set up and it screws the whole house up.

we should go do stuff when it is just the 2 babies. We can go to lunch, take them to the park, just enjoy nice weather.
