Islam on the subway! Alhamdullilah!

Assalamu Alaikum:

I pray all is well with all my sisters. Imam Siraj Wahaj is launching a new project to post Islamic ads on the trains here in New York. It is a beautiful dawah opportunity and a chance for non-muslims to learn more about Islam, Alhamdullilah. It will launch in September, just in time for Ramadan, may Allah reward him for his efforts, ameen. I cant wait to see them inshallah.

As usual with anything islamic, there is contraversy, and yes there are a lot of people who are opposed and against this(what a surprise??). They are calling him "The terror Imam" and calling the trains "Jihad Trains", Astagfirullah! They said that he was on some terror watch list and have to be "watched", subhanallah! I attend his masjid in Brooklyn and listen to his lectures, he is a very good speaker, mashallah!

I pray that his goes well, we need this type of dawah. We have other religions spreading their faith freely, why not us, subhanallah! May Allah help this to succeed and increase this ummah to follow this beautiful way of life, Ameen!

Assalamu alaikum!  I just saw an article about this yesterday!  Mashallah!  If the message of Islam touches one person's heart or brings someone to Islam...then alhamdulillah!  Let us know if you see them around!
