My CRAZY idea!

Ok, so, I have been really thinking and praying lately about the way we have been living our lives. All I ever hear about is how bad the ecomnomy is doing and how people can't afford the things they "need". SO Donnie and I have come up with a soulution, we are going to live a more self sufficient life. We have our chickens now that will supply us with eggs and eventually meat. We have our garden that is totally oragnic and fertilized by the chickens. I am going to start making more from scatch like the bread we use everyday and the cookies I love to eat! LOL! I already have mad baby food from scratch so I will be doing that again with piper. We are going to stop buying all of these crazy useless toys and get back to real fun like playing outside and using imaginations! I am going to TRY to sew Pipers dresses and buy everything else from the consignment store. I am also going to try canning and freezing anything I can. These are just some of the ideas that we have come up with to change our lifestyle to be simpler! I know it sounds CRAZY, BUT I truly think it is the way we SHOULD be living. The way people have lived WAY before us(and they came out ok, right? Let's hope so! LOL!)

I am right there with you but you are wwwwaayyy ahead of me. We have always tried to live a simpler life and we have slipped over the years. Within the last 2 years I really feel we have moved closer to live that simpler life. One because I am now a SAHM. So, all those things that take time to do I have time to do. We feel so much better. So, I am right there with ya!
