This is amazing. I wish all women who are considering surrendering a baby for adoption could read this. Yes, this is exactly the type of stuff your baby will grow up hearing. And NO, even in an open adoption there will be nothing you can do to prevent her from hearing it.

And please vote that it should be  "Popular."  :)

I certainly wish I'd read that when I was considering. I was told that my son wouldn't feel any different and that he'd know I loved him. Lies.

I can't imagine how anyone would think it is ok to say to an adoptee "she didn't want you then, why would she want you now."

Actually I've heard adoptees say it themselves which I find even sadder.
