July 19th, 2008
On Saturday July 19, 2008 at 7am I found out that I was pregnant. We have been trying for two years to get pregnant. In February, we started seeing a specialist to find the cause of our not getting pregnant. It was then that it was discovered that there was a polyp on my uterine wall. The next step was surgery to remove it, (which was scheduled for August 14, 2008). We have prayed many many prayers that we would be blessed with a child. That blessing has come true. The first person that I called was Ashlee Cowan (best friend) then we called our parents. My mom was in Mexico, and she bought the baby an outfit. So my baby's first outfit is truly special because it is from Mexico. Uncle Austin helped pick it out. Everybody was tickled when we told them the news!!! The first symptoms that I had were frequent having to go to the bathroom, and being very very tired. I go for first blood work on July 24, 2008. We will then have our first ultrasound on Aug. 14th.
