Would He be any less?

Recently I had a nasty bout with my aunt. She's not tried to help me at all in the last 10 yrs and in fact turned me away when I did ask for help. She learned this last week that I am making a Life Plan for my 7 yr old son with someone whom has been my sister thru many things -- even though her and I are not blood related. My aunt came all unglued all over me -- telling me that I was making a horrible mistake and that I was totally evil. She does'nt know everything that led up to my choices and she's been very closed minded about listening to me and hearing me out.

So I asked my aunt:

If you were to lose your hand in an accident and you prayed to God to restore your hand and He did'nt do so.. would He be any less you Lord?
