Don't get me wrong, I HATED where we were living in MS. The town was small and dirty. The people were rude and dirty. Everything was dirty lol...

I have to go back next week. I have a meeting with my prof in Hattiesburg Wednesday. My husband will be in Tuesday (works offshore), so we are going to spend the day in New Orleans.

I miss New Orleans. I couldn't figure out why but, it occurred to me today. No, I have never lived in the city, but we were pretty close to it. Before the kids, hubby and I spent more time there then home. But it's the city where we were married, Brennen was concieved.... we have spent so much time down there and it just feels like home.

I want to go back. TN is nice and the people are friendly - the weather is PERFECT - but I miss New Orleans.

We're going to be touristy and go walk the cemeteries. Lunch in the Garden District. And Dinner on the river.
