Drowning Victim Recovered

The body of a Tulsa man has been recovered in the Grand River below Pensacola Dam.

The Grand River Dam Authority Lake Patrol says the body of a 37-year old Jason Wortham was recovered Sunday evening.

According to the Lake Patrol, Jason Wortham was wading in the water, near a safety cable below the dam when, according to witnesses, he went under and did not resurface.

The GRDA Lake Patrol responded and following a search, recovered Wortham's body.

I'll be thinking of his family. Sounds like a horrible accident. I couldn't bear the thought of losing my son. God will get them through it will just take time.
