Our Family Vacation!

We really had a great time! I was very surprised at how wonderful my children were in the car, it was a long drive so we had to stop every few hours of course, but they were angles! The girls thought the beach was amazing, this was the first time they have ever seen the ocean. They were so cute and wanted to bring back every broken seashell they found, we had to put a limit on that real soon! Shayla (my oldest) wanted a boggy board like the older kids, so we found her a little one. She was not afraid at all, my husband took her out to the waves, and had a hard time getting her to stay by him. She kept wanting to go deeper and deeper. I was of course terified, exspecially once a wave came and wiped her out, but she kept getting back up. Jaylen only wanted to play in the sand, she got wiped out once, and it was over! Alexis did o.k. if I could only get her to not eat sand! She played in it and liked the water, She was fussy because it was hot. One day we took a dolphin tour on a speed boat and the baby cried almost the whole first half (I was embarrassed). Jaylen decided she was scared of dolphins ( I don't even know where that came from) Shayla was the only one who had a good time, we will never do that again. I am a huge fans of dolphins, and it was great seeing them up close, but that was a one time thing. Other then that we stayed at the beach, shopped, ate  good food, we played a sweet miniature golf , which the girls did great at. We had a fun margarita Monday with fresh squeezed margaritas ( my favorite) We went with my family, my mom,dad, two brothers 19 and 22 whom are both big drinkers and obnoxious. And my sister 14 who is a normal annoying teenage girl. Oh and my brothers girlfriend, all they do is fight, we all lived in one house for a week. I am glad to be back in Toledo. All of them together is to much for me, and since everyone is grown up my mom can not control them anymore! Security actually had to come to our house a few times because of my brothers being stupid! I tried to look past that and enjoy myself and my kids! It was great having my husband home for a whole week! Now I am exhausted and need a vacation from vacation, lol. Time to unpack!

sounds like it was a fun trip. we are going to go to disney world next nov in 09. we got our disney dvd yesterday. I'm excited! heather
