My ds started Kindergarten today and My worse fear happened.. I was already sceptical about putting him on the school bus but his dad was like I need to let him grow up a little.. The damn bus driver put him off in the wrong apartment complex.. I was standing at the stop waiting for the bus and I was looking toward the street were the bus come in at and thought I Saw my son running off the bus with some other children who live at the complex on the other street but because I was at a distance I waited until the bus came down to my stop and when he didn't get off I stopped the bus... I asked the driver about a kindergartner and told her my sons name.. The bitch(excuse my language) caught an attitude and was like there is no one on my bus I just checked I was like yeah but he is a little kid and this is the bus he suppose to be on she yells THEY DIDN"T EVEN PUT ANY KINDERGARDERS ON MY BUS TODAY! you have to take that up with the school and drove off... I was frantic so I walked all the up to the other bus stop and went inside the complex I spotted my son standing next to a woman and her child she was trying to take my son into the complexes main office.. I begin to scream my sons name to get his attention he spotted me and came running.. We both was on the brink of tears.. When I came in the house I called the school and let them know what happen.. I was told to take it up with the bus transport ppl when I called there the dispatcher this hoe was not concerned at all she asked me Well do you have your son now?.. I was like Bitch your careless bus driver put my baby off somewhere else when plain as day the teacher put not one but three different labels on my son that says his name school bus # and where he suppose to get off at but she still put him off else where. All she says is well I will talk with the driver and hangs up.. UHHHHH I am SO pissed when school comes back on Thursday I will be at the bus stop and giving the driver a piece of my mind.. And oh my son is not riding the bus again!....

let me know what happens i would have pulled her ass off the bnd beat her!!
I just wanted to add that if you contact your local TV station and tell them about the incident, that will get their attention.
If you choose to put him back on...up to you...I personally HATE the bus...I would walk my son through the neighborhood and make sure he knows his stop WELL, also make sure he knows all the kids that get off at his stop...that way he will not be confused again. As for the school system and buses I feel for you they can be lack...but help him get it and make sure you are there to pick up the pieces again if need be. Thank God you were there. Hope your day or well school year gets better.
Something like this happened in my town last week too. It was on the news. You should call instead of being a hot head. That won't get you anywhere. I would be extremely frightened too though. Last year our bus driver allowed a stranger to board the bus at one of the stops and gripe at one of the students who was using his cell phone to take pictures of her out of the bus window. As parents we have to get involved when stuff like this happens. We have to protect our children. Bus drivers should be screened just like any other school employee or teacher for that matter.
A few years ago a bus driver in our town closed the door on a young girl and caught her back pack in the door he drug her some 400 feet before he noticed her . I'm sorry to say she died . And the driver was not charged with the accident . He commited suicide because he couldn;t deal with what he did .
If you have a problem with the bus driver you should first call the Bus garage AND ONLY speak to the superviser ' in our town their calls are recorded ' and then call the school board . they need and must be informed of things llike this. also I agree with showing your child the neighbor hood and also talking to one of the older kids moms at the bus stop . have a older child watch out for your child. let your child know that when ( say ) chris gets off the bus you know thats your stop too.
I think you should write a formal complaint to the HR of that department. Tell them the whole story especially about how both the dispatcher and bus driver gave you an attitude.
