We have had quite a bit of rain & driving wind, a few power fluctuations but no outages yet. We are on the edge of the eye so we know more is to come. Fay is moving slowly so we are expecting the rains & wind to continue at least until midnight. Schools will be closed tomorrow due to flooding. Here are some pictures of our street during a break in the weather.

A benefit of having a septic tank...our house is on a little hill & an extra 500 feet back from the street.

THankgoodness ya'll are doing ok! I was just telling Ninja that I was worried about you and Boop. Up here it's been cloudy all day with a few sprinkles and some gusty winds...maybe 30mph everyonce in awhile..nothing big. I kinda feel like its a hurry up and wait type of situation. Waiting for the bottom to fall out! I managed to get the generator fired up, just in case we need it, but I doubt it. Rob has a drunk aunt named Fay...so I find the name of this storm amusing...it's just been wandering around in a drunken state for the past few days, not quite sure what to do...and now the TV says that once she's out in the Atlantic she's gonna make a U turn and come back across the state closer to Jacksonville...typical drunk bitch. (DH Aunt is good people...but get a case into her and she gets a bit crazy....)
