My hubby & I are taking our Sofia to the ENT today to discuss putting tubes in her ears.  She has had 2 ear infections.  The 1st was minor but the second was right ater she had Coxsackie Virus.  That one was bad. 

My older daughter had tubes put in her ears when she was 4 yrs old & had them removed when she was 6.  There was a big improvment when she had them in & she never had another ear infection again!

I know Sofie only had 2 ear infections but I don't want her to have to suffer through another painful infection.  My hubby is not ready to see our daughter go through an operation at this young age...but it is an out patient procedure.  Like I said before I would rather her have th procedure then have to suffer another infection.  I feel so helpless when my children are in any kind of pain.

We waited in the doc office for 2 hours!  My husband left work early to be @ this appointment & we ended up walking out of there w/o seeing the doc.  We even came in early as requested by the office.  We will be looking for a new ENT for Sofie.
