Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

October 26th 2008 is the 3rd Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Event that I have personally participated in.  The event is located at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, NJ and I would really love it if some other Cafemoms would join me and Brennan this year!!  The first year I participated I had just found out I was pregnant and last year I brought my new baby girl with me so this will technically be the 3rd year that we both have participated and I plan to make it a mother daughter event every year.  This is a great way to meet other mom's who have had breast cancer affect their lives, through personal experience with breast cancer or through friends and family who have had this disease, and to join in making a difference.  My group is called Ribbons of Hope; you can find out more about how breast cancer has affected my life through family and friends who have been diagnosed, fought and survived and some that have fought  and lost their battles by going to the American Cancer Society's Page and looking at the Event Pages and to my personal page.  If you have any questions or would like to join my group please send me an email or if you would just like to make a donation go to my Cafemom home page and and click Donate Now.  Thank you.

I would be inrested in joining you and Brennan on Oct 26 for the making strides against breast cancer because i lost my mom to the disease and i have always wanted to do something for breast cancer but never found anything close by. i don't live that far from cooper river and i think me, chad and mikey would enjoy doing something with the family and also for breast cancer.
