Crickett’s Answer for Cancer is an organization formed in memory of Crickett Julius, who passed away in October of 2006 after a 4 ½ month battle with metastatic breast cancer. Her family created Crickett’s Answer for Cancer to ensure that women with breast cancer have access to wigs and mastectomy products, as well as facials and other pampering services as a way to feel feminine and beautiful despite losing their hair and/or breasts.

The cost of breast cancer treatment can quickly erode a family’s savings and lead to overwhelming debt. A woman with breast cancer often feels a loss of her identity and self-esteem as a woman, but would not consider spending money on a wig or pampering services because of viewing them as frivolous. Crickett’s Answer for Cancer seeks to provide these items for women who wouldn’t be able to obtain them otherwise.

I am trying to help this organization raise funds by selling pink quilt square Christmas ornaments at my 2 websites, http://www.SquareHip.etsy.com and www.hyenacart.com/gigglingguppy - my store is B2 at the Guppy.  $6 from every ornament sold will go to Crickett's.  Please take a look and let me know what you think!
